Lauren and Drew’s wedding in Lancaster!
Lead photographer~my sweet Timon Wang, and special thanks to Lucia Loiso for assisting and shooting!
Lauren’s gorgeous peony bouquet… (my favorite flower too!)
Pink peonies from the bridesmaids’ bouquets… I was in peony heaven.
Lauren’s shoes! I would’ve worn those heart rhinestones to my wedding if I’d seen those 8 years ago.
Lauren’s outfit was so entirely complete and perfect
Lauren getting ready…
One thing that we loved about their wedding was
that they brought in a Steinway Grand piano. One thing I love about Timon is that he thought to pose the rings inside the piano (with the help of the piano tuner, on exactly where to safely place the rings!)
Didn’t hurt to grab a few more photographs of Lauren in the calm of the morning…
Coming up on some of our favorites… My…is stunning even adequate enough of a word?!
Lauren walked down the corridor and met Drew for a first look
Out peaked the cutest little flower girl… she was so happy.
close-up through the window…she was so excited, she stayed looking out the window
Although she started the morning out giddy, she also had some tears to shed as would be normal for a little flower girl. But we had an understanding going: I was her source of candy and stickers. Later with that understanding, she gave me this:
I will always love wedding details…
Lauren, are you sure weren’t already on the cover of a bridal magazine?!
I think this is so sweet
couldn’t be any more beautiful…
Lauren is the sweetest person. And so is her mom. Her mom handmade these cookies for their wedding reception favors:
Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Drew Mercy
This is cute:
I adore the feeling and light in Lauren and Drew’s first dance picture…
I love this too:
A big part of the reception was the guests!
Below, bottom-left: Soon-to-be mother and father of the bride, Senator Sharon Runner and George Runner, whose beautiful daughter’s wedding we had the privilege of shooting just a few weeks later. A neat tidbit about them is that they’re the first husband and wife in California history who served in state legislature at the same time!:)
The night was about over, when all of a sudden this gentleman decided it was time:
Enough partying…one last snapshot of the happily married bride and groom!
