Here’s the slideshow to Allan, Sandi, and Jakob’s family session! It was so awesome shooting their brand new family, and so fun to photograph their first addition to the family, little one year old Jakob. As you’ll see, he was SUCH a happy baby boy! The cleverest thing they brought to the shoot was a stuffed Frankenstein that was still new to him and sang and danced the whole entire shoot. It totally worked.. I’m on the hunt for a stuffed, singing monster now. But even without the Frankie, Jakob was so easy to shoot because he’s naturally a social baby. He was pretty much content, happy, and engaged the whole shoot! Throw in a smile-toy along with an already smiley baby… you get loads of happy baby and family pictures. I was hooked and can’t wait to do it again. ;) As always, I love seeing all the different myriads of expressions they throw at us when they’re merely even a year old. Kylie is One! Sabrina & Eng’s Family Session at UCLA

Everything lately reminds me of the fact that time feels like it’s zip-lining by me. It must’ve been only a blink of an eye or bat of a lash that my friend Sabrina and I have now known each other for 15 years from college! It’s so hard to believe! It reminds me that life is short and not to waste even a day because all those days sure do add up. Now Sabrina and Eng just celebrated their daughter Kylie’s first birthday. I was so honored and excited to get to take her pictures on the actual day of her birthday. As for where we went to take the pictures, where else other than back at UCLA?~ afterall, this is the daughter of Sa*bruin*a’!:

Kylie couldn’t walk all by herself just yet, but who says you can’t practice?

Kylie instinctively knew how to sit and perch on the grass of UCLA.

It’d be neat if Kylie used this on a father’s day card 15-20 years from now (she’d then be 16 or 21, big birthdays as well!)

Mother’s Day Shoot

This is a meaningful photo album for us, as these are pictures of Timon’s parents! We took them out last Sunday to get a photo they could frame as a mother’s day present.
