Valencia Engagement Session | Briana + Patrick

Timon and Liz Wang — Wed, 02 Jul 2014 17:52:07 +0000

We’re so in love with this Santa Clarita film engagement session, shot for our good friends Briana and Patrick on a blustery summer Valencia day. It was truly a fun experience to plan this, and even more exciting to share with all of you! What makes this such a fun shoot was being able to show so many sides of these two (and a little bit of my own inspiration), complete with lace, a blue dress and red heels, and matching “nerdy” glasses and sneakers (in honor of Briana being a teacher) and a fair amount of laughter and beauty all rolled in together. I must say, these took on both the romantic and the silly with great success- we can’t wait for their unbelievable wedding at Paramount Ranch in just a few weeks!

S.M. Pier + LACMA Engagement Session | Santa Monica Photographer

Timon and Liz Wang — Wed, 24 Apr 2013 14:27:58 +0000

We have such a cool story that we can’t wait to share with you…we just couldn’t resist dropping everything and posting this. This is the story of a two musicians, a violinist and a flute player, who just happen to sit together in an orchestra…and their first date at Santa Monica pier. Two people so uniquely different and special in their own way, brought together by God to be a perfect match. We hope you will enjoy these images as much as we enjoyed putting this together.

Venice Engagement Session | Ann + Kevin

Timon and Liz Wang — Wed, 15 Aug 2012 06:37:02 +0000

This really has been a year of transition for us. One of our goals was to cut down on the amount of work we did this year compared to last, and just have some time to focus on our personal relationships and projects, serving at church, and a crazy kitchen remodel that is still a work in progress! When Kevin and Ann asked us to shoot their wedding, it was an added bonus, and we were so excited that we had the date open! It’s not often that we get a chance to be the photographers at a friend’s wedding, especially one we’ve been friends with for so long! (We’ve known Kevin for almost 14 years)! It was an added bonus to hang out with Kevin and Ann to wedding plan, and get to see first hand how perfect they are for each other. We can’t wait to celebrate with them! Here’s a few highlights from our e-session shoot- it was so hard to only post a few!

Santa Clarita Engagement Session Photographer | Kaley + Tyler

Timon and Liz Wang — Tue, 07 Aug 2012 19:24:55 +0000

As a photographer, it’s always an interesting experience being in front of a camera, instead of behind it. We had the awesome opportunity to be asked to photograph an engagement session and wedding of a local photographer here in LA, and we were excited to plan a shoot in our own little town of Valencia! Kaley is a family and baby photographer, and Tyler is an artist in his own right. And after just a few minutes talking, I could sense how much photography means to them. So no pressure, right? I know from experience how difficult it can be to lose yourself and just enjoy the session, but I thought Kaley and Tyler did a great job. Here’s just a snippet of their session:

Engagement Session, Connie and Anek | Pasadena Wedding Photographer

Timon and Liz Wang — Thu, 26 Apr 2012 18:21:51 +0000

When I met Connie and Anek for the first time at Jameson Coffee in Pasadena, after chatting about their wedding details, they confided to me how they were a little nervous about taking pictures together and that they had never worked with a professional photographer. Ok, they were really apprehensive. As Connie shared it, they had never really taken pictures as a couple, were nervous about interacting on camera, and thought they would look stiff. After we talked a little about how I like to shoot, and assured them they would be awesome, we started planning a little, and I think we all left that coffee shop pretty excited about our shoot. When I told Connie and Anek they would be amazing, I meant it. These two inspired me from the beginning because they really put their trust in me to make their first session a memorable one, and I’m thankful that they did.
