Everything lately reminds me of the fact that time feels like it’s zip-lining by me. It must’ve been only a blink of an eye or bat of a lash that my friend Sabrina and I have now known each other for 15 years from college! It’s so hard to believe! It reminds me that life is short and not to waste even a day because all those days sure do add up. Now Sabrina and Eng just celebrated their daughter Kylie’s first birthday. I was so honored and excited to get to take her pictures on the actual day of her birthday. As for where we went to take the pictures, where else other than back at UCLA?~ afterall, this is the daughter of Sa*bruin*a’!:

Mommy and one year old Kylie:

Who cares about normal portraits when this was way cuter:

My favorite for Sabrina and Eng:

It needed to be documented- the fact that she’s definitely a Bruin baby!

Kylie couldn’t walk all by herself just yet, but who says you can’t practice?

Kylie instinctively knew how to sit and perch on the grass of UCLA.

It’d be neat if Kylie used this on a father’s day card 15-20 years from now (she’d then be 16 or 21, big birthdays as well!)

The first time we ever met Amanda and Bret was over a lazy saturday brunch. We discussed their wedding plans, and just from our time together, immediately sensed that this was a special couple, so genuine and caring. Bret’s two kids also came to join in on the pancakes and planning, and were so fittingly the best man and maid of honor. This was a wedding that we couldn’t wait to be a part of. Timon took the lead on this wedding and I was his trusty assistant. It was a lot of fun! A beautiful venue and a beautiful day, for a beautiful couple:

Onto some details…

What to do when you’re ready and the bride isn’t yet

Amanda getting ready…

So beautiful…

Bret wasn’t looking too shabby either:

The maid of honor

The best man

It was a beautiful ceremony… too bad someone missed most of it

Married! Finally some together-time:

Their wedding cake was seriously DELICIOUS (courtesy of La Starr & Co.) one of… if not the best we’ve had.

The party wouldn’t be the same without an outstanding DJ. Manuel Barba will get your party jumpin’. Everyone was dancing

Congrats Amanda and Bret!

A little shoot we did with our good friends before their wedding. Liz was the maid of honor, but I couldn’t resist getting a few pics! So we scheduled a beautiful get together where we revisited the spot of the original proposal, went on the same gondola ride, and even ate at the same restaurant! Such an amazing time for us, and one we’ll always remember… -Timon
Diana and Daniel… I’m just glad I got to finish their wedding photos before their baby comes! At their wedding they did a Korean tradition where their parents and grandparents get to toss walnuts at them and however many they catch represent the number of babies they’ll have. They must’ve caught at least 20 walnuts that night, but I think even they were surprised at how soon they’d be looking at parenthood. As soon as I heard the news, it became a race for me to get their wedding photos out asap. I’m glad I made it. Congrats D&D!
